No Need to Fear Testosterone Replacement Therapy if You Approach it Responsibly

By Brad Palubicki

Today I would like to talk about a serious condition that affects hundreds of thousands of men all over the world. Low testosterone, or low T, is diagnosed when testosterone levels fall below the normal range of 300- 1000 ng/dL, as established by the FDA.

Testosterone production in men decreases with age, bringing with it a number of debilitating symptoms. Some of the signs of low T include muscle loss, decreased bone density, hair loss, increase in body fat, lack of energy, mood swings and difficulty achieving erections.

As average life expectancy continues to increase, and men are trying to stay active and lead a rewarding lifestyle for longer than ever before, the low T condition asserts itself with an increasing prominence. Although modern medicine is perfectly capable of treating low T safely and effectively, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) sometimes gets an unfair bad rap.

In his article “Testosterone Truths: This Is What Your Doctor Hasn’t Told You About Testosterone,” NuMale’s Dr. Asandra provides his expert insight into the best approach to treating low T and explains how TRT became mistakenly associated with the increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Dr. Asandra talks about the recent studies proving that TRT is in fact, not correlated with increased cardiovascular risk, and that, if done correctly by an experienced professional such as the physicians at NuMale, it is likely to reduce it.

What Dr. Asandra touched upon in his article is very important: too many men fall victim to inexperienced doctors and aggressive ads marketing hormonal gels and creams, that might do more harm than good if used incorrectly. In the end, just like any other serious medical condition, low T requires the attention of an experienced doctor and an individually tailored approach. Done right, TRT can drastically improve your lifestyle and help you feel young and energetic again.
